Drop In Advising

Drop-In Availability Updates

• Drop-in advising services are no longer offered for the remainder of the Fall 2025 semester.
• The university will be closed from December 24 through January 2.
• Drop-in advising services will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, for the Spring 2026 semester.

Students who need assistance during this time are encouraged to schedule an advising appointment when services resume.

Drop-in advising is reserved for quick advising questions and is limited to 15-minute sessions. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students can discuss the following topics during drop in advising:

• University Policy
• Course Enrollment / Planning
• Change of Major
• General Education requirements

Important Advising Hold Information

Major advising holds cannot be removed during drop-in advising.
If you have a major advising hold on your account, you must schedule a formal advising appointment to have the hold reviewed and removed
