Working with Adobe

In partnership with Adobe, students bring to life their creative solutions to real-world issues using video apps within Creative Cloud, including Adobe Express, Adobe Audition, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Rush, Adobe Portfolio, and many others. Workshops are held to introduce and assist students in the learning of all available tools.

HonorsX students showcase their demos of Adobe Express tools learned in the program, including designing a standard resume by Zhanpeng He, creating a LinkedIn banner by Denise Guillen, developing posters and invitations by Brenda Uribe G., designing Instagram posts by Gabriela Arana Costa, building an “About Me” page by Dipanjot Kaur, and creating a quick logo by Amy Do.
Adobe Jumpstarting Digital Literacy Day, September 2, 2025

Two HonorsX students, Kiyomi Yee and Paula Sabinon Collazo, demonstrated the use of Adobe Express for creating responsive web pages, social media graphics, and quick video edits with AI-powered features for their About Webpage. At the end of the presentation, eight other HonorsX students interacted with first-year students and answered their questions about the use of Adobe Express for creating web pages.

In collaboration with Adobe, the HonorsX 2024-25 cohort presented at the event hosted by the Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation for faculty and staff to discover and discuss topics that impact curricular activities and best practices in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud.
Adobe Spartan Immersion Day, December 4, 2024

Hosted by the SJSU University Library, Adobe Immersion Day featured keynote speakers, an alumni panel of Adobe employees and student presentations on leveraging Adobe Creative Cloud to pursue their passions. Students then toured Adobe’s San José headquarters, engaging in hands-on activities led by Adobe employees.
